Overview


We are seeking a Business Analyst to analyze current business processes, map user workflows, and define how our systems should function.

This role works closely with Product Managers, UI/UX, Engineering, and business stakeholders to bring clarity to requirements before development begins.

Within the organization, the Business Analyst plays a hands-on role in understanding how work gets done today and translating that into structured, actionable inputs for product development. The position helps reduce ambiguity, improve user experience, and ensure solutions align with real business needs.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to connect business context with product execution.


Key Responsibilities


Process Analysis & Mapping

  • Document current-state business processes, workflows, and system interactions
  • Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement
  • Create clear process maps, user flows, and system diagrams
  • Validate process understanding with stakeholders across the organization

User Journey & Experience Definition

  • Map end-to-end user journeys across systems and touchpoints
  • Identify pain points, friction, and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with UI/UX to translate workflows into intuitive user experiences
  • Ensure user flows are logical, efficient, and aligned with business goals

Requirements Definition

  • Translate business processes into structured requirements and functional specifications
  • Support Product Managers in defining user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and ready for development
  • Maintain documentation of workflows, requirements, and decisions

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work directly with business stakeholders to understand needs and constraints
  • Facilitate discussions to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguity
  • Act as a bridge between business users, Product, and Engineering
  • Ensure alignment between business expectations and product delivery

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with Product Managers during discovery and planning phases
  • Collaborate with UI/UX on wireframes, flows, and interaction design
  • Support Engineering by clarifying requirements during development
  • Participate in reviews to ensure delivered functionality matches intent

Documentation & Visibility

  • Maintain clear, organized documentation of processes and requirements
  • Ensure artifacts are accessible and usable across teams
  • Track changes and updates to workflows and requirements
  • Promote consistent documentation standards

Process Improvement

  • Recommend improvements to business processes and system workflows
  • Help standardize documentation practices
  • Continuously refine how requirements are gathered and validated
  • Promote clarity and consistency across teams


Qualifications


Required

  • 3–6 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product, or related roles
  • Experience documenting business processes and workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in a software or technology-driven environment


Preferred

  • Experience working with Product Managers and UI/UX teams
  • Familiarity with Agile or iterative development environments
  • Experience with process mapping tools or diagramming techniques
  • Experience in compliance-driven or regulated industries


Tools & Platforms (Preferred Experience)

  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • Process mapping tools (Miro, Lucidchart, Visio, or similar)
  • Wireframing and collaboration tools (Figma, Miro, or similar)
  • Power BI or reporting tools (nice to have)
  • Collaboration tools such as Zoom and chat platforms
  • Familiarity with EOS / Ninety or similar operating frameworks (nice to have)

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • Business processes and workflows are clearly documented and understood
  • Product requirements are complete, structured, and ready for development
  • UI/UX designs align closely with real user workflows
  • Engineering receives clear inputs with minimal rework or confusion
