Project Manager
Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to help coordinate and deliver key initiatives across our organization. This role works closely with Engineering, Product, and leadership teams to ensure projects are well-planned, clearly communicated, and delivered on time.
Within our 40-person, software-focused organization, the Project Manager plays a hands-on role in keeping projects moving, improving delivery processes, and maintaining visibility into priorities and progress across teams.
This role requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
- Plan and manage projects from initiation through completion, including scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Operations) to ensure smooth execution
- Track progress and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and potential blockers
- Maintain team momentum by facilitating coordination and removing delivery obstacles
Agile & Development Coordination
- Support Agile development practices and delivery tracking
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to translate business objectives into actionable plans
- Maintain clear documentation of requirements, decisions, and progress
Project Visibility & Reporting
- Ensure visibility across projects and portfolio using Jira and related tools
- Provide leadership with clear updates on status, timelines, risks, and resource needs
- Ensure projects, epics, and tasks are consistently documented and tracked to promote transparency
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a communication bridge between leadership, product stakeholders, and technical teams
- Prepare and share regular status updates
- Ensure alignment on priorities and expectations
- Escalate issues when necessary to maintain progress
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve project management practices and delivery processes
- Support consistent tracking and documentation standards
- Implement practical processes that increase efficiency without adding unnecessary overhead
Data & Operational Insights
- Leverage project data and scorecards to monitor priorities and performance
- Build and maintain dashboards to track timelines, delivery metrics, and trends
- Provide insights into capacity, progress, and potential risks
Qualifications
Required
- 3–6 years of experience managing projects, preferably in software development or technology environments
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience using Jira and integrated project management tools
- Ability to identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive projects forward
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Familiarity with project reporting and dashboards
- Experience with analytics or data tools such as Power BI or SQL
- Experience in small or mid-sized organizations with collaborative and flexible teams
Tools & Platforms (Preferred Experience)
- Jira
- Confluence
- Tempo or similar capacity planning tools
- Power BI or other reporting/dashboard tools
- SQL (preferred but not required)
- Collaboration tools such as Zoom and chat platforms
- Familiarity with EOS / Ninety or similar operating frameworks (nice to have)
